What is THE classic dragon-hunting/slaying adventure?

Right at the beginning of 3e there was an awesome slay the white dragon module that featured the dragon's half-dragon son as an ally. I never played it, but it sure looked cool.
Also, there was a D&D (boxed sets) Lairs book called something like "Dragon's and Giants that had a dozen short scenarios featuring either a dragon or a giant. Great Elmore cover too.

Dungeon # 87, "Glacier Season", for 15th level PCs, IIRC. I ran it in 2008, and it was pretty fun.

O1 - Blade of Vengeance. This is all about the dragon, and is perhaps the best example I've seen from the older TSR modules. It's designed for a single player (no, it's not a solo adventure - it's for 1 DM + 1 player). Having said that, it's easily adaptable to a group and has a lot of forest/fey/elven goodness.

Small point of pedantry - Blade of Vengeance was in fact O2. (O1 was The Gem and The Staff.)

The big bad dragon in it has 66 HP ... how times change eh?
