What is the general alignment of.....GAMERS?

Players are generally just people. People, in general, are Neutral.

My particular group, I think, leans towards NG.

this was kinda my whole point, a gentle ribbing ot those who keep posting "what is the lignment of this huge group in 8 different worlds"....but now that it is out there...i find it very interesting that in a rules based game, with the default being p.c.'s as good guys, that as of the 36th vote noone has chosen lawful good

(BTW: Characters' alignments have little to nothing to do with players' alignments... )


Anyway: Most of us here are DMs rather than players - and I don't know (m)any DMs who would consider their player group, on the average, as being LG.

Reasoning:

People in general tend towards (but not necessarily are) N.

So most player groups will have an average (which is the thing that you're asking for, really) along these lines.

But there's more:

(Most) DMs who are happy with their groups have no reason consider their groups Lawful because of it - but they might consider them Good.

Heh. On the other hand, DMs who aren't happy with their groups are quite likely to see their players as being Chaotic (or even Evil), no matter what these people's actual alignment might be.

That's a good one. We had a friend for years whose characters were always did what was "Chaotic Good For ME"

My current group is NG, so I voted that. My previous group were LE (with 1 NG member, the only one in the new group). Gamers in general though are CG.
