What is the proper pronunciation of "Grognard"?

I've been saying it phonetically, but when I do that it sounds like I am referring to the left testicle of a half-orc named Grog.

Sounds like you have the Americish pronunciation correct. I'd only worry about the French pronunciation if you're going to be in Canada or France. (Or Belgium, Haiti, &c.)

Incidentally, it's a french word. It should actually be pronounced more like "gron YAR".

A good approximation, if you want to say it french way, is "grrro-nyarrr".
