What is the toughest printed creature?

The Land Giant from the Slayers Guide to Giants has an Ac of 90 something almost 4000hp, a five mile reach and a CR of 90. Good "shock and awe" value for sheer smashing power. Pretty insane.

I don't think I've ever heard the words "mere tarrasque" before.

Personally, I go with Asmodeus from Tomb of Horrors. Sure, he doesn't have that high a CR, but he's the DEVIL!!! How can you get nastier than that?

Only problem with that...Asmodeus isn't in the Tome of Horrors. He's in the Book of Vile Darkness. You might be thinking of Lucifer perhaps (he's in the ToH).
