He was joking about it being Erik Mona on the phone. Lol.

Yeah :D I should have added a j/k somewhere but I was hungover at the time. ;). Other than that point busker's theory could explain some stuff.

Dragon/Dungeon customer service or whatever you wish to call it is like a black hole.

The last Dragon I got was 309 and my emails are also going into that black hole. Last Dungeon I received was 101 which is up to date I think. I'm trying to not have to resort to phone calls, but I just saw 310 on newstand/newsagent - that hammers home just how late it is!

Heh. Even though LcKedovan was joking about that, I still have the feeling that Paizo is understaffed. Don't get me wrong, I think they do a good job on the content of the magazine. They also seem to listen to their readers and are trying to give us the magazine that we want.

But the nature of some of their problems (the magazines are late, shipping problems, the website is months behind) just strike me as the sort of problems that are due to understaffedness. Hmm ... that's not a real word, so I must be running out of things to say.

I've been having issues, too (again).

I still don't have either Dragon 311 or Dungeon 102, and subscribers in the US already have the next mags in those series.

When I was missing Dragon 310 I got a very prompt and helpful reply from Paizo, and they express mailed me the issue. But like you I have received no reply from mailing that same person again directly, as well as mailing all the customer service email addresses (twice this week).

I'm not happy, especially with the huge premium I'm paying for a foreign subscription.

Same case with me, I'm missing 311, got 310 express, and I live in england!

Even so, me and Paizo agreed that I should probably try to pick the mags of the racks here in Sweden, which works for me. Too bad I'll miss the subscriber content.

Hmm. Did he offer a return of the remaining subscription money? (I'm also Swedish, and haven't gotten the last couple of issues.)

I just bought Dragon 310 from a local store so as to be sure to get it. I don't mind (all that much :) having to do so occasionally - stuff happens - but I'm not too keen on paying twice for an issue all that often.

Another disgruntled Swede …

Yet another Swede here.

I have received neither Dragon #311 nor Dungeon #103. And, yes, they will return your money. But it'll cost you 100 SEK (11–12 USD) to cash the check in a Swedish bank, so if you only have a few issues left on your subscription, it's probably not worth the effort.

Jeff is always polite, and promptly sends me the issues I miss.

Even so, it's rather annoying to see the mags in my local gaming store before they arrive in my mailbox.

But don't say that too loudly around here, too many people at ENworld have friends at Paizo and don't like it when you insult them and their career.

Probably because insults of anyone are frowned upon.

How Odd... I just got Dungeon 103.. so now I am only missing 102 and the 3 Dragon issues (not counting the one just released).

Need to call them from Spain again during my holiday next week... sucky.

Money back

Yes, Jonas, Paizo will refund me the money. My subscription never worked properly, I only received one issue after much work from Jeff, so I hope to get money back for 11 issues.

I have picked up 102 and 103 from the racks in SF-Bokhandeln i Stockholm.

At least you are not alone in your plight. Sweden seems to be cursed when it comes to Dungeon/Dragon subscriptions.

Cheers!

Maggan

(and hey, Jeff, if you're reading this, thanx again for all your work!)
