What language/accent do you think is the coolest?

What accent can you impersonate the best?

What language, that you don't actually speak, can you mimic best?

I heard a Japanese comic, (female), once do a bit on overhearing Westerners mimic speaking Japanese. She mimicked them mimicking Japanese, and then said, "Don't do that. You don't realize what you're saying!"

Coolest is a hard pick... Too hard. :p

What accent can you impersonate the best?

For me, probably English Cockney. I can manage a higher-class English accent pretty well (for an American), and both Scottish and Irish accents. All fairly easy ones, I'll grant. I can also pull off Southern States and a bit of New Orleans Cajun/Creole (I know they're different cultures, but the accent has blended together over the years).
I tend to bounce between accents over the course of a day, just for fun. Confuses the heck out of people who don't know me. :D

The Latin-based ones, particularly French.

I love to hear English spoken with a sultry french accent.

Not an outrageous accent? ;)

Sorry, had to be said.

I'm quite fond of the Welsh accent, although I have no idea why.

Possibly because most of the time they're saying, "... but England were the better team on the day, and deserved the win." ;)

I like an Aussie accent, possibly because it just suits the laidback mentality down under. The language I like best is Papiementu, a pidgin language spoken on some of the Dutch Antilles. It makes every sentence sound like you want to kill something or hump it.

The accent I can imitate best is that of a Dutchman speaking English (just so you know, Mike Mayers got it completely wrong in Goldmember). I also do a pretty mean Pirate.
