That won't work. The Hexer PrC specifically says you have to be able to cast Lightining Bolt as a divine spell. The Geomancer allows you to cast spells in a more favorable way, but it doesn't change their type. Your Wizard based Lightning Bolt would still be an arcane spell.

actually the describtion gave me the impression that the distinction between arcane & divine has simply lost its meaning for the Geomancer - anyway, that's the way I'm going to run it in my campaign (the Adept is a NPC class - and while I have no problems with utterly evil PrCs, I see no sense in NPC PrCs (just as there will be no "epic level" NPC classes))...

If you want to run it that way in your campaign, that is fine, but there isn't anything in the Geomancer PrC description that states or implies that arcane and divine spells merge together, or lose their distinction. In point of fact, since the Geomancer still has to "acquire and prepare" his spells in the normal way for each class, that gives an explicit mechanic that keeps his arcane and divine spellcasting abilities separate.

The only thing spell versatility does is allow you to affect the conditions for casting a particular spell. It does not give any indication that it changes the basic nature of that spell.

Of course, I have no problem with a PrC that is aimed at Adepts, but that is another issue entirely.
