What is YOUR level?

Emerald

First Post
I was just reading another thread and someone described their life in terms of class levels. And it made me wonder, how would you describe you life in terms of D&D levels (classes and feats)?

I would describe myself as a level 3 Expert with skill focus (profession: political science) and skill focus (profession: mother), I think. This is a harder question than I realized.

I would make Mother and Father a prestige class, myself.

Otherwise- I refuse to participate. Players stat'ng themselves tend to get really self-critical and depressing.

Now I wonder what the prereqs would be.... ;)

I'm a Expert 2/Bard 2. Several years in the professional workforce got me my expert levels, and my poetic slant and focus on Creative Writing got me my Bard levels. I have Skill Focus: Profession: Writer and Skill Focus: Perform (poetry). I have several ranks in various Knowedge skills, such as Religion, History, and D&D.

For some reason my attempts to Inspire Courage kind of fall flat, though.

My next level will probably be in Monk (because of my studies in martial arts and eastern philosophy). I hope to concentrate on my Bard and Monk classes until I reach Epic levels. After that, I'm not sure which way I'll go.

I'm not selfcritical. if anything I am delusional, cause I think my stats rock. :D If I were to take life experience and try and equate it to fantasy classes it would be as follows:

human male
Str 12 Dex 13 Con 14 Int 16 Wis 17 Chr 12
Rogue 2/Cleric 2

I think Modern works a bit better, in which case I would be a Dedicated hero 4

Heh, ok, that is the other problem.

I remember one player I dm'd in high school that insisted all his statistics were above 15.... of course, this was the same guy that often fell down the stairs in his apartment.

You thinks its bad in dnd, you should see what people come up with in Vampire! Merits and Flaws can be abused in a normal game, much less when people try and find their own.

Its alwfully hard to ever really say a person would have above a 16 in their stats. I claim the 17 only because as a 4th level character I raised mine :D

Dex is a wierd one though. I have excellent hand eye coordination, and yet I constantly injure myself.

Count me as another delusional type like Skade - I won't even bother statting myself here as I'd most likely only draw disbelief and cheap laughs :D

I would never laugh at you Sniktch. I might mock you, but I would never laugh. :D Would your class levels include a Deathmaster, by chance?
