What kind of gaming data would you like to see collected on a website?

Looks interesting. I didn't download it since I don't like downloading things from sites that I don't know. Would rather see it in HTML. Or both.

I'd like to see a list of monsters with challenge rating, name of sourcebook, and page number. Indexed by monster name and challenge rating.

Off the top of my head I'd include MM and MM2, CC and CC2, Monsternomicon, Creatures of Rokugan, OA, and Monsters of Faerun for starters. There are more monster books coming out, and I'd like to see them added to this master index too.

I could help, but not until next week. Dragongirl, could you host such a thing? I don't have a website.

And by the way Dragongirl, your post count has been rising faster than a geyser. Is it possible that you are the queen of

Well, don't fret too much, it is perfectly safe. Morrus wouldn't post news updates to it if it wasn't! :D

hmm. I've begun a new project myself in a sort of similar vein, called the OGopaedia. The idea is a living document, an open source 'handbook' of sorts that anyone can add their stuff to, beginning with the SRD as a base, listing everything available for D20 fantasy, and adding descriptions for everything that's OGC.

It runs off a Wiki, which is a communal editing tool and simple markup language. At this point, I'm trying to decide whether it'll fly and is of interest to anyone but me, since I'd need at least one or two more 'editors' to make sure that the OGL is held to, and the more people working actively on additions, the better the document is.

If anyone's interested, what I have so far is available for viewing here.

Hehe, mostly because of the NEW Sacred Thread over in Meta.

What would I like to see collected?

Three little words: "Open Game Content"

Having a central OGC repository would be terrific (yes, I know it's come up before).

I don't know how much editing et al I can do, but I will be happy to contribute material to it.
