What Magical items do you tend to prefer?

What type of magical item do you tend to prefer to use in your games? Do like potions and elixirs, or staves and wands, perhaps rings are your fancy, Maybe Intelligent Weapons that comune with their owners, or does your dark side comeout and make you smile at the thought of a cursed amulet? I wanna know. And please offer some examples so that we all might wonder at your creative genius.

My favorite type of item is the woundrous category, it just has so many cool things under it.

I have to say that I prefer Rings, wands, and staves for normal items, although I'm also a huge fan Cursed items...they can make teh game so much more entertaining especially when the PCs don't realize that the items are cursed until its too late.
