Based on this reply, it looks like if it was released to the general public in PDF before it doesn't count. So, The Old World and Champions of Chaos wouldn't count.

It's funny seeing some games that get recommended every year and are still not out. 13th Age 2e is another one that got recommended in 2024, 2025 and now 2026 (which will probably be out since backers are getting their copies this month).Stonetop... he said every year for the past four, going on five, years.

13th Age 2e is out by now, at least on DTRPG, and the backers should have their printed books by now too

yes you are correct i got it confused with a press release for "Werewolf: The Apocalypse Roleplaying Game Chronicle of the Black Labyrinth Releases April 2026!" I removed it.

Conan RPG (Monolith) shipped to backers but i don't believe its available to the public currently.
Is the Cyberpunk 2077 an expansion or a new RPG ?
About 8 PbtA games at Evil Hat in development that could be releasing in 2026.
Also not sure where "Curseborn" sits, or "Invincible".

cant believe i forgot the announced Phantasy Star (5E), and Diablo RPGs, added those and additional kickstarter stuff that may or may not be out. There was a designer on Reddit, that stated he was working on the "Attack On Titan TTRPG" but i suspect it may be an individual vs a publisher, or it just hasn't been announced yet.

I believe Curseborne and Phantasy Star won’t count since the final PDFs are available to the public already. For Curseborne even Onyx Path announced it as released, you can even order a POD version.
