What project would you like Paizo to tacke next for Pathfinder?
I voted for psionics. And I personally hope that Paizo does not model it on the vancian/spell slot casting method. The way I see it, what is the point of developing an alternate magic system if it is basically the same as the other system. One of the reason psionics in 3.5 has such a strong fan base is because it follows its own unique rules. I think that with some thought and feedback from psionic lovers, Paizo could make a balanced, fun system that isn't just a carbon copy of the traditional casting method. IMO, psionics are what sorcerers should have been in the first place; I personally cannot stand the sorcerer, not because it is too strong or weak, but because it feels as though it is a wizard. It has the same spell lists, the same casting method (speaking gibberish and dancing around like a lunatic), and the same flaws (armor interference). Psionics offers an alternative way of looking at magic; the powers follow similar rules to spells, but function in a different manner. And best of all, they are different enough to distinguish from a wizards spells; the common man may not be capable of telling the difference, but those in the know can. I don't mean to derail this thread into a "why I hate sorcerers" rant; if I have done so, I apologize in advance. I simply wish to point out what psionics can potentially bring to the game, for those who are looking for something different; I certainly don't wish for Paizo to dump the sorcerer. Not that they would in any case. :p
