In all seriousness, any solid moderns game can handle PoI just fine. At least through season 3. (I quit watching after s3. ) d6 Adventure or MIB can be used as is. GURPS Basic Set, possibly add G:Cyberpunk for some of the later 3rd season bits. BTRC's CORPS - a bit on the gritty side, but well scaled, and guaranteed to have all the guns one might want in More Guns³ Any good post 1970's spy game, heist game, or assassin game... Top Secret, James Bond 007, Hollowpoint, Leverage, etc. Firefly, stripped of the majority of SF elements, can readily be reskinned for moderns, thanks to being a space western, and the rules would be a really good fit to the tone - Serious, but not dry. Wry humor and people out on the edge of their competence. If one is sticking to the core model of the show, drop super powers for skills, and the relationship rules in Smallville would work well. Hell, graft relationships on to Firefly, instead. Oh, wait, Firefly is OOP and not even available in PDF... And the new owners of Cortex Prime won't even let me redownload it, since I bough it from the prior owner. (Cam Banks, you screwed up there...)
