What races are appropriate to a Greek (or at least Bronze age) setting that could be created with existing stats (at LA +0)

The only two I can think of are Faun and Centaurs, Centaurs as characters already exist in Greek myth (Chiron the trainer of Heros), and Faun appear in Disney's Hercules. But Centaur are LA +2 (anyway of making a Centaur that isn't?)

The standard PC races could be used but don't really fit imho

As mentioned before it could be possible to change the fluff for some of the races. So for instance The Faun (using halfling stats - didn't call it a Satyr cause that names already in use)

FAUN
Faun are short race with hind quarters, hooves and horns like a goat but a humanoid the torso and head. Faun have broad forheads and narrow chin giving their faces a triangular shape, they are also quite hirsute with scruffy beards and shaggy legs even covering their hooves. Faun are known to be a simple though hedonistic people with great passion for licentious frolicking and wonton inebriation. Besides the demands of feasting, frolicking and family the only other thing which Faun enjoy is music and in this they excel. Because of this however they are not known for invention or skill with crafts, for talent at arms or even for building villages and developing a settled way of life. Instead Faun are wonderers always seeking new experience and new ways to satisfy their insatiable appetites
Note: Faun horns are short and do no damage beyond a normal headbutt (which is a favoured manouvere amongst Faun youth)

FWIW Relics & Rituals: Olympus introduces Fauns as a new playable race but your approach would work just as well.

Dwarves, Orcs or Hobgoblins would make great Spartans.

I can't find the book, but I do know there was a horse-humans like fauns that are only known by pottery and there was at least one half dragon (his legs and lower torso are dragconic and has a very long tail) who was a king.

Bronze Guardian - As Warforged, but not affected by repel wood. They are vulnerable to blood drain attacks.

The Dragonlance Minotaur could also be adapted.
