Well...

1) the guard might as well have been named Redd McShirt

2) the main characters' plot protection shields are still se on high.

3) love conquers all

Pretty much what you'd expec from this lot.

Side note: is it just me, or does the female second in command somewhat resemble Claudia Christiensen from her Bab5 role?

yes, she does remind me of Claudia Christian from B5 now that you mention it.

I am normally a sucker for killer virus stories, but the amnesia virus just didn't do it for me. Plus, I think with Sixers & dinosaurs running around, a remote lab with scientists in it would have had some sort of guards for protection, as well as some safety protocols... i.e., why didn't one scientist radio back for help, or trip some sort of safety alarm?

I DVR'd it, so I lost some when the baseball game ran over - I sat down to watch it at 9:15 without commercials, and only the first few minutes made it to the DVR.

why didn't one scientist radio back for help,

2 answers:

1) they had had a lot of trouble maintaining radio contact, at least in part because one particular species of Dino treated the nickel in some of their (buried) cables "like catnip" and were always chewing them up. (this is based on stories about squirrels attacking buried cables in some cities)

2) the lead scientist was found to have thought of alerting someone...but couldn't remember who to notify.

  • Old Star Trek plot that has been done to death.
  • Base out in the boondocks.
  • Dino that loves nickel.
While it all works and actting is rather good on the show, this was just standard filler. I give it to the two guys, leaving the wounded man as they ran in fear...come on, man up and take on the dino like Steve Irwin!
