What RPGs genres are lacking?

The spy genre for certain. I think it could have a unique solo approach too. I've been thinking long and hard about the interrogation scene, no not the torture kind, but the interview kind. Some type of social combat where the interrogator and the interrogatee trade off trying to get one up on the other. If they crack, they spill what they know, if the hold up they dont. Also, they could potentially plant seeds that lead into traps or red herrings throwing off the investigators.

I haven't seen much for Pulp Adventure games. There were a couple, way back when, but aside from the WEG D6 versions of BloodShadows and Indiana Jones, I've seen nothing really in the pulp adventure that wasn't Call of Cthulhu. Certainly no Tarzan or Solomon Kane.
Not even the kickstarter modules seem to be going that way.
Check out Outgunned Adventure. I don't think that the book is out yet, but the PDF is on DriveThruRPG. It's meant for playing Indiana Jones, The Mummy, Lara Croft, and other similar pulp adventure stories.

Age of Sail, as pirates or navy, is worth a try as a solo game. So is occult mysticism, including shamanism. Military games are worth a try, though those would require running a squad as PCs, rather than an individual.

Bronze Age. Here I mean actual Bronze Age, fantasy or otherwise, and not just things that are called Bronze Age but all the art and rules clearly represent the later Iron Age and/or Classical periods.

Stone Age. From Paleolithic to Neolithic.

17th/18th Century settings that arent flashing blades or pirates

Pulp Heroes is neglected

Swords and Planets

Ive always been fascinated by the history of the British East India Company and its colonisation and rule in India - especially from the perspective of the Mughals. An expert treatment of that would be amazing

There is definitely a wide spread of rpgs, I guess our question was about where are they the thinnest - in the sense of lacking. One could argue that the world doesn't need another fantasy rpg for example!
The IPAs of the RPG world. There are already umpteen bazillion of them, and odds are good that whatever you're thinking of making, someone's already made it, or made something so close it that the difference is almost indistinguishable.

A second vote for Stone Age.

Hmmmm…

Weird West
At least 5 treatments: Deadlands original system, Deadlands ported to Savage Worlds, Sagas & Six Guns for savage world, and Castle Falkenstein (in a splatbook), and minimal coverage in Space 1889 (a 4 page magazine article, but 1889 has steamtech galore already).

While not so weird as those, Aces & Eights isn't the west of the dime novels nor that of history.
Hard sci-fi post collapse/colonial survival
On Earth? Or off?
On Earth: Twilight 2000 any of 1e, 2.0e. 2.2e, or 4e. Aftermath. Morrow Project. Various levels of sci fi tech, from none (T2K) to cryogenic suspension (Morrow)

Solomon Kane got an adaptation by Mongoose in the 2000's.
D6 Adventure is essentially WEG Indiana Jones less the LFL owned IP, and is currently available in PDF.
Savage Worlds has a lot of pulp settings. Including another Solomon Kane adaptation.

Something like hit points, but for will power? Hard stare crits for 2d6?
