What Rules Sources Do You Allow?

I allow all WotC material excluding dragon magazine and campaign setting books (like Oriental Adventures) unless I'm running that campaign setting. Everything else I ban not because I'm worried about my players "breaking the game" and "getting too strong," but rather because I'm worried they aren't being useful. I don't fear powergamers, I fear the gamers that build wacky homebrew characters that focus on being a rabbit.

But I've always wanted to play an awakened kitty rogue vampire! My litter box could be my coffin!

Though I did play in a short game where we were all wizard familiars. We had to help our "masters" pass their exams at the magic academy. As a cat, I was the only one that could open doors. And I occasionally tried to eat the rat and raven familiars. It was great fun and we still talk about it today.
