What should guard this bad guy's lair?

I put some devils down there. Tied in nicely with the year long campaign that developped.

Right now in the middle of a starship battle of the players vs the big bad ones stargate/starwars mixed fleet.

The players use a flying ghost ship ... and they are winning!

Yay, pirates!

well, they've got a devil encounter coming the next session (wink wink, nudge nudge to any of the players reading this...) and hints at more coming down the road. (the backstory to the campaign is that a radical faction of Overlord followers made a pact with some powerful devils to create an artifact of frightening power...)

They'll probably be close to level 7 by the time they get to Liamar's house, so probably something at least CR7 or 8, if not CR9 would be appropriate for a devil.
