What should the range be on Spiritwall (T&B)?

As the subject says. The spell description doesn't list any range, and I'm fairly sure that is an omission. I would rule that it is the same as Wall of Force (close range), which is the same level (5th lvl Sor/Wiz) as Spiritwall is.

tough call, if I recall correctly wall of stone and iren have emdium ranges, fire and ice I don't know but maybe medium as well. Personally I see spirit wall more like wall of fire than any other wall in that it is a wall of damage warning people not to cross, and not a wall that stops things cold because it isn stone, iron, or force. So I'd give it the wall of fire range waht ever that is. If T&B has an errata go with that of course.

Thanks for the suggestion. I like your reasoning, but am a little iffy about the medium range just because Spiritwall is a little more powerful than Wall of Fire, IMO. Forcing a Will save or fleeing in fear, causing damage and possibly a negative level for anyone going through it, stopping spells and giving total cover, and allowing no save to avoid being caught in it - that's a lot of stuff! Unfortunately it's sure to be a while before T&B errata is out (I think), so there's no official help either.
