What six questions would you have asked?

1. what is the Conan- LoTR ratio?

LOL! :)

It's funny, because there's a seed of truth to it. Frankly, I think it's a bit sad that we don't have a Conan-esque world of pulp sword and sorcery and a separate Tolkien-esque world of elves, dwarves, halflings, orcs, etc.

Hmm. I haven't followed this whole submission thing at all, so maybe I'm missing something, but...

At some point, I thought RPing was about PCs. While I don't dismiss the potential importance of NPCs, to make NPC heroes two of six major emphases in a campaign setting seems wrong.

I think that's what a lot of us thought when we first looked at those questions. Am I supposed to list my own Tanis Half-Elven or Elminster?

Once Anthony Valterra clarified questions 2 and 3 to indicate to mean, "What types of heroes are there in your world?" it helped, but it still felt a bit awkward. If you answer question two by itself, you're tempted to list the race and class options for PCs. When you go to answer question three, it amounts to something like, "They tackle the threats, conflicts, and villains of question four!"

Maybe it's just me, I'd I'd rather see organisations, political entities, rulers and the like...

By asking a question like "What do they do?" I think Wizards may have tricked passive writers into giving them a more active setting. Well, thousands of them, actually.
