Pathfinder 1E What sort of Clockwork Dragon would Dwarves design to protect a temple?

Straight forward question, just looking for opinions.

The PCs are inside a temple to a forgotten deity, and are about to encounter a Clockwork Dragon designed by ancient Dwarves to protect the temple. I'm going to use the Clockwork template from The Advanced Bestiary from Green Ronin Games.

Which type of Dragon would they most likely have Clockwork'd? None of the dragons descriptions really seem to fit when I read about the so I'm looking for suggestions and opinions.

Steam-powered dragon?

I'd imagine it would be made of/bedecked with precious minerals, so I'd guess Gold, Silver - perhaps copper, or one of the gemstone dragons - Emerald, Diamond or Ruby.

Red or a metallic dragon. Maybe a Linorm or something.

Agree with red, but possibly something more unusual...

I'm thinking something sinewy like an Asian dragon- a Gold, perhaps- in form, all the better to navigate subterranean cities. But instead of (or in addition to) a fire breath weapon, a "grapeshot" attack: it spews rubble and other detritus at its opponents.

Steam-powered dragon?

Take this a step further. The dragon has serious DR. It is powered by a magical furnace in its chest. Heat effects buff it, cold effects nerf it. Maybe it blasts a ring of fire around it when it gets too hot. Maybe there are steam vents all around it can stand on to buff.

Could be a pretty interesting fight.

Maybe it's just a super highly bat-poopidly evolved Rust Monster!
