What spells would you choose if you were playing a dragon?

That's an incredibly nasty thought

Blacklight is fairly sick for a dragon.

Wind Wall - archers can be a real pain in the butt. This stops their fun, while you eat their friends.

Freedom of movement is great.

Dimension anchor - stop those hero's doing their hit and run stuff.

Transport magic is extremely useful. Who can't find a use for teleport.

Disintegrate - good for getting rid of all sorts of obstacles - particularly pesky walls of force.

Heal. Duh!

Forcecage. Use the bar version - it's an indestructible grill box.

Disjunction?

Another couple of thoughts... just in case the worst happens:

Clone.

Contingent Raise Dead - Trigger: been dead more than a day... wonder if that's possible with the right clerical spell access?

Skreyn's Register / Bonds of Magic

SK Reynolds had a mere 1st level spell in there allowing a dragon (or half-dragon) to change its breath weapon energy type....

Surprise ! Most likely TPK too !

I know this is off topic, but since it was brought up here, I'd thought I'd just keep picking with it some:

What would be a decent spell to change a dragon's color? I'm sure a spell could be made up to do such a thing, but is there anything out there to accomplish such otherwise?

I think its a great way to go and frame another dragon to get the people upset. Eventually an adventuring party is going to come along to slay the innocent dragon. They come in and, even if they don't kill him, they'll likely at least do a sizable amount of damage. At that point, the real culprit comes and and finishes the job with all the money to still take.

Change/Disguise Self should be enough.

Alter Self won't work: 5 HD limit. Sorry, kids!

Ahh yes, you kids and your newfangled 3 "point 5" edition. I remember back when games only had whole number editions, none of these fractional editions. What's next, I ask you? Imaginary editions? Fie, fie upon your un-whole-sum editions!!!

I long for the good old days when games were only available in prime editions.....

Speaking of which...Damage Reduction isn't always a supernatural ability in 3.5. While my inclination is consider the Dragon's DR/Magic supernatural...I can't find textual support for this at first glance. Anyone have any answers to this? (As it would make an anti-magic field that much nastier for the PCs)

AFAIK it is not a hard and fast rule, but DR/Magic and DR/Alignment are usually (Su), while DR/material and DR/weapon type are generally (Ex).
