I've read both of Wulf's, KidC, KotSQ, and Milo, and I'm working on Wizardru, Samnell, and Sagiro. I've looked in at a few of the others.

So, I've got to get 900 views to reach that elusive veneer of respectability? Well, my five readers and I will get right to work on it... :)

I read the Knight's of the Silver Quill.

But I guess that I'm sort of biased in the matter, yet by the time that I get done writing my own crazy unpopular storyhour, there is just no time left. I need to stop working so that I have more time to focus on my storyhour and web site. When those are complete, there is a slew of other storys that I would like to read.

Like Broccoli Head's, a bunch of other Forgotten Realms ones, and Tsunami's (The one with the orcish mage and the disgruntled frog familiar.)

Knights of the Silver Quill by Dr.Midnight - Based mainly in RttToEE. I'd liken it to a really good comic. You can tell that the players have fun and really get into their characters. Bonus points for cool banners!

Wulf's by Wulf - Story arcs through the WotC adventure path. Very funny and written from the point of view of the oh so dwarven Wulf Ratbane. His personality makes the story.

Faded Glory by Old One- This one is something special because of the intricate homebrew world and roleplaying of the characters. This story hour feels more "real" than the others (and no, I don't know what that means either - it's just a feeling I get).

I voted for several, but two that were missing:

The Unusual Heros (Love the KotSQ gang in all their forms:))

Rel's Faded Glory campaign (a lovely counterpoint to the original)

Thanks to ALL who take their time to share their fun with the rest of us!

I mostly keep my own up to date, but I've looked over Wulf's a few times, and I like what I see. Next time I start playing again, I think I'll do one in a similar fashion. Currently, I'm DMing, so I keep the story hour for my players for story review and comments (although my players rarely post to the thread).

Later!

Sorry but the only ones I can read are the undermountain and aftermath campaign after the war threads. I just don't like reading stories that begin with hefty bios of all the characters and background behind the campaign. I prefer clear writing with an emphasis on action :)

:: polite cough ::

Eager to put the Sunless Citadel behind them, the party's next adventure began in the humble fashion of so many others: hired on as guards to babysit a caravan of goods from one town to the next. The threat was orcs, and the pay was negligible-- but unlike many dwarves, Wulf's thirst is for battle and blood, not goods and gold-- and the party agreed to take the job.

The journey was short, so the action started quickly...

I read too many Story Hours.

Besides Out of the Frying Pan (my favorite!!!!) and Wulf's Story Hour (a close second), I read Posy Diary (cute, very well written, cute, cute), Enforcer's Wheel of Time (great!), Sunderer's story, the two Planescape Stories (only one has come to this new forum :( ), the paladin-succubus story, WizarDru, Savanna Knights and some others...

PirateCat, Sagiro and Old One among, others, but they are the one's I read not just for fun but for ideas on writing better storyhours. Wulf's for the sheer fun of it.

Now if that 'Reviews of Storyhours' thing would just revive...:)
