What to do with a cat?

It could be a boneless, hairless cat.
Or it could be a very peculiar cat indeed. There is no way of determining whether it is alive or dead. On its collar would be a tag reading "Schrodinger".

Demiurge out.

Love the ideas here, by the way. Stephen King wrote a story for TALES FROM THE CRYPT about a cat which was the vengeful spirit of all the cats killed at a corporation for animal testing. It killed the owners in their mansion (tripping on the stairs, smothering in bed), and with only the elderly man left he hired a body guard to protect. Interesting what happened to the bodyguard though ...

Anyway; wasn't the Elven cat the Cooshee, and isn't it bigger then a cat? As in medium sized?

It's been said so many times in so many different ways in this thread, but one more time can't hurt...

'You mean a normal cat isn't bad enough??'

Make the cat a living artifact. It only uses its powers on behalf of the PC that it likes best. For even greater mystery, make its powers subtle so it is not immediately identifiable as the source, e.g. Luck bonus to attacks, saves, checks and AC, spell resistance, etc.

Or it's just your run of the mill Cat of Nine Lives Stealing. :p

Oh c'mon, like nobody saw that coming! ;)
