what to polymorph into?

I'm trying to make the most use of every ability the marilith blackguard has so as to give my overpowered pc's a good fight.

I noticed that marilith's can polymorph self at will. what exactly does a 6 armed demoness want to change into? specifically for combat, obviously it would be very usefull in non-combat situations, commoners react poorly to six armed snake women :)

thanks

It doesn't want to polymorph into anything else to fight.

She can wield a Greatsword in each hand. Load her up with Greatsword-specific feats like Weapon Focus, Weapon Specialization, Improved Critical, and then give her Improved Multiweapon Fighting and other nastiness.

Plus, she's a Marilith Blackguard. Bet she has enough levels under her to afford six pretty well enchanted greatswords.

Seriously, Marilith is about as good as it gets for a combat form. It's the one I most often take advantage of with Shifter PCs.

Sometimes a little deception might help. If your party encountered a damsel in distress, they wouldn't be so quick to destroy her (I hope) and even if they were she could tell them that she knows information that would be helpful to the party. Then sometime when they are vulnerable she would strike. Or something to throw them off guard.

Yes, and as I have found, parties are (at least how they as people react, not charecters) worried its a trap. Thats why you need to throw a few true "damsel in distress" circumstances their way
