What traditional pulp adventure RPGs are out there?

Last time I was in the FLGS I noticed a copy of 'The Savage World of Solomon Kane'. But I don't know any details of the product other than it is supposedly a stand-alone Savage Worlds sourcebook.

. . . pulp was a medium, not a style. . .

The word, of course, is "was" -- since then, Pulp has been redefined as a Mode (or sub-genre) built upon the commonplace tenets of fiction published in the aforementioned medium.

The super powers of Adventrue are less tied to the game then it might seem. We ran normal games with it no problem. Hollow Earth Expedition is a very good Pulp game that does fit the bill nicely though. Pulp Hero I use just to reference what Pulp is and to let players read it so they fully understand where the game is coming from.

Yes, you can ignore the game's central premise and use it to run non-supers Pulp. This, however, does not make non-supers Pulp the game's central premise as-written ;)

C&C would be perfect for this!

... *grins*

:) C&C has rules for everything! They're right there in other games -- but don't let that fool you -- these are actually rules for C&C! Pulp Hero? Doesn't exist. It's really a secret C&C sourcebook penned by the Troll Lord man-puppet Steve Long! Daredevils? A C&C sourcebook so awesome that somebody from Troll Lord travelled back in time to write it and then cleverly published it under an entirely different name to cover their footprints! These and other games are all C&C RAW! ;)

C&C. It's new TimeCube.
