what type of "fantasy" campaign do you play?

I would like to run Exalted someday. I also have a homebrew with Spelljammer and steampunk elements. I guess those would qualify as non-standard. For the steampunk stuff I just made up what I needed. However, I am still looking forward to FFGs steampunk book.

Our group was hardcore Planescape for quite a while, running the gambit from Joe-average Sigil dwellers to Blood War mercenaries.

Our Namea (floaty island) campaign was a bit more "western" in feel but with a heavy Far Realm influence. Everything was larger-than-life in this game - one city was a crash-landed 2 mile iron cube of Acheron, some monsters were the size of a small town, the "sea" was a living, quasi-vaporous creature, etc.

Finally our latest campaign takes place in a post-Ragnarok setting with Gods who are mortal (no Idunn), and focusing more on an age of exploration an expansion. A lot grittier than our over-the-top high fantasy Namea setting. The PCs are the trailblazers, mapping the new world, sailing the unexplored seas, conquering, trading, and generally just getting themselves into trouble. This is probably our most "western-style" campaign in feel since our old Greyhawk days. Actually, I'm quite hyped about this latest setting and it will definitely be a lot easier to run and manage for less experienced DMs.

A'koss.
