In the continuing effort to flood the boards with useless polls I present this one. So what do you think? Which one do you want to test drive?

Cool, I'm the first voter :-) I've been getting the SL books for awhile now, and have been slowly but surely sucked into the setting's history, politics, etc.

If I wasn't going to run a GH game once I have players gathered again, I'd probably do a SL one shot or three, just to check it out.

Something Else

We're going to be taking a break from 3E and switching to d20 Fading Suns in a few weeks. We're really looking forward to the chance for a good old fashioned space opera after over a year of D&D.

It should make for a nice change of pace.

This is probably going to sound strange I know...

But understand folks, I have some VERY "WotC is CORE" folks that won't take a look at most of the stuff I get. Course I keep SOME of the goodies (like Legions of Hell) to myself, but the fact remains, I've yet to TRULY run a Scarred Lands campaign. Right now I'm running something but it's not a campaign just yet. In any case, I hope to get one started soon as I finish this.

Although I DM a GH campaign one of my players wanted to try to DM in the SL setting so that will probably be the next setting we play in. There's something about Necromancy that he likes so when we do play with him as DM we'll probably be in Hollowfaust.

On a semi-related note.

Hola dear friend! So did it come yet? :) Cause I was wondering if you got. I do have it, just wanted to hear your thoughts. Btw, you should probably have your player read some of Necromancy by Mongoose Publishing. I think maybe giving a few necromantic feats to say Baryoi would be rather neat wouldn't you say? ;)

I'll be playing a shugenja in an Oriental Adventures campaign soon. I'm really looking forward to it, as I've never really been a player in a long-running tabletop campaign. Since I've got the biggest allowance and the most source material, I've always been the DM...

I'll seriously thinking of running a campaign in the 2nd half of the year set in Britannia, ca. Ultima 4. Since Ultima 4's plot is a thinly-disguised conversion of Buddhism's quest for enlightenment, I'll have an excuse to mix some OA stuff in with the core material. :)
