Oh this is where the title goes?
If you have some way to get advantage, 5 disadvantaged attacks become 5 normal attacks.

True enough...
Attack 1: Shove prone (disadvantage doesn't matter)
Attacks 2-5: Normal attacks :)

(I guess that assumes your source of disadvantage doesn't apply to checks. So that depends what the situation is.)

Really depends. Advantage and disadvantage mean more near the 50/50 mark. I had a character with a +11 to hit who was firing at long range and not minding disadvantage - because he was trying to hit AC 13 so his hit chance was still over 90%.

Also, are all of the attacks equally weighted or do you need to hit once to do sneak attack but additional hits after that don't make a big difference?

There's no one-size-fits-all solution with the information you gave.

5 attacks at disadvantage. It becomes the stronger option once your hit chance becomes about 65%, which means attacking was already a good option anyway. 2 attacks at advantage is stronger when your hit chance is low, but that simply means you should be pursuing a non-attacking strategy instead.
