What would you run if you didn't worry about stats?

I'd run an epic battle between 6 20th level characters and 3 or 4 pit fiends or Balors. Just thinking about the numbers-juggling involved would be like balancing the books for a midsized business.

I've run this battle (balor-style). Even with all the other summoned fiends it wasn't all that hard. Can't wait for this weekend when the party runs into a band of ramped up (ramped up to challenge 6 27th level characters that is) faeries.

I'm with Crothian on this topic. I don't sweat the complexity.
