What's a decent media outlet for information?

I think that slogan was Bezos. It's only used in a few places nowadays, as opposed to the NYT which loooooves to tell people that they're allegedly the best newspaper in the history of the world.

Variety, Deadline, Hollywood Reporter are OK but tend to be biased towards the studios. They're not wring/lie but they're part of the hype machine.

r/boxoffice is good for well box office performance and often links to various sources.

This guy gets called a "shill" he's probably a bit towards the positive side but isn't as bad as some. His guests sometimes are actual Hollywood insiders.


He's prolific anyway.

For more mainstream stuff I use/used Washington Post, BBC, RNZ, France 24 and DWnews,Reuters.

American media mostly unusable imho very big on talking heads and opinion.
