For those of us who observe Christmas and/or decorate a Christmas Tree, what do you put on top of it?

Is it an Angel?

For several years now we've had a white angel with illuminated star around it. We are not religious, it's just good contrast agains the coloured light of the tree.

As a follow up, you should ask, What is at the bottom of your Christmas tree?

Our family has an antique blown-glass finial that we would always top our tree with...it's been in the family for about a hundred years. My brother (the eldest) inherited it when my father passed away.

But I'm the middle child, so I had to find my own topper. We have a glass finial of our own, but it's not really heirloom-quality...I've got my eyes peeled for a nice hand-blown one.
