What's left of 3e that you want to buy?

I may or may not switch to 4e. I'm taking a wait and see approach. But it has gotten me to think about what's left in 3e that I want to get. I don't have many books anymore, I sold a bunch of them when I was unemployed last summer, but there are only few books I want.

Out already:
Expedition to Undermountain
Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk
Spell Compendium (I have the Magic Item Compendium)

Coming Out:
Rules Compendium

I'll probably also grab the odd RPG aid, fantastic locations and miniatures mostly.

Expedition to Castle Ravenloft and Expedition to Castle Greyhawk, for sure. Pathfinder (though I'm somewhat glad that I held off on a subscription and am currently in "wait and see" mode). And, ah. . . maybe a copy of Nyambe. Other than that, I think I'm good now.

[Edit: After posting this I went and ordered Heroes of Horror, Lords of Madness, Liber Mortis, and an extra copy of the PHB -- though at $30 for the lot, I think I got a good deal.]

Well i wanted to get at some point all WOTC books excluding adventures. I might get the recent super adventures for Faerun and might as well add the expedition books. Im not missing very many books, though ive only been able to buy one book this year.

I might as well add eberron and sovreign press' Dragonlance. Keep me in 3.5 material for a few years considering my money situation. I'll buy 4e for Faerun and if my old books are still good.

Currently considering:

A Practical Guide to Dragons
A Practical Guide to Monsters
Love & War
Crime & Punishment
Dynasties & Demagogues
The last issues of Dragon & Dungeon
Crown of the Kobold King for fluff for my Midwood campaign
Book of Hallowed Might I & II for Ptolus fluff
Dragon: Monster Ecologies
Pirate's Guide to Freeport
Requiem for a God for Ptolus fluff
Lords of Madness (iffy)

I'm also thinking about getting the Dungeon Survival Guide later this year and Paizo's monsters reimagined book in the spring.

My list would be:

  • City of Brass
  • Expedition to the Ruins of Castle Greyhawk

and while not D&D:

  • Iron Heroes Player's Companion
  • Monte Cook's World of Darkness

I'm looking forward to buying:

Pathfinder's "Rise of the Runelords" AP (Paizo)
Conquest of Bloodsworn Vale (Paizo)
Gallery of Evil (Paizo)
Creature Collection II (Sword & Sorcery)
Creature Collection III (Sword & Sorcery)
Tome of Horrors II (Necromancer Games)
Tome of Horrors III (Necromancer Games)
City Works (Fantasy Flight Games)
Magic Item Compendium (WotC)

Complete Arcane, Divine, Warrior, Adventurer
Spell Compedium

But I might not bother and wait till 4E comes out, then either switch or pick them up on the secondary market.
