But pun-pun remembers what it was like to be pathetic and weak like he was 6 seconds ago.
So, he helps out any mortal that prays to him.
Which are few, since he became a god like 6 seconds ago.
He's going to give it a minute.

No limits described. Wow.

Yeah, as I remember, Pun-Pun wasn't created just to be the most powerful character ever made, but also as a criticism of WotC for putting out supplements with little regard to what the abilities therein could do.

But is it fun-fun?

Well, if that doesn't warrant a pun-punishment I don't know what does.

In their defense, it's not entirely their fault. It's just practically impossible to make interesting systems which don't break when combined with things that they were never meant to be combined with, and you can't expect every system to be tested with every other system that's ever come out before it.

Most things work perfectly well self-contained or with limited exposure to more "base" expansion elements. Things start getting wonky mostly when you start throwing together, say, Hellfire Warlocks and Incarnum.

So, the easiest answer is just to limit characters to certain systems. If you want to play a warlock, no incarnum, vestiges, Bo9S, etc. Want to play a Swordsage? Cool, but no incarnum, vestiges, warlocks, etc. Want to play an Incarnate? Cool, but no.... you get the idea.

Or, of course, you could also argue that Hellfire Warlock + Naberius (it's debatable whether or not the Strongheart Vest works, considering that HW requires you to actually take the damage) is the only way to play an effective Hellfire Warlock (or any warlock that actually cares about how much damage it does).

There is nothing unbalanced about even the 36d6 Hellfire Warlock - At the levels it's ability exists at a High DC Save-or-Die is still far better.

It's a nice class yes, one of the few that can actually do okay at Blasting at a high level - but they're no full caster even with UMD.

OT: I believe that the Sage/FAQ ruled that the Legacy Champion/Uncanny Trickster trick doesn't work. You can't advance the class features of a level that doesn't exist.
