what's the name of the feat...

...that allows you to subtract one metamagic level from a spell you cast?

Aren't there a few different feats like that?

Anyone remember off the top of their heads? (The book it's in would be nice, too, if you remember...)

Edit: Nevermind. :) I was thinking of "Practical Metamagic" in Races of Dragon, but it's really for sorcerers. Also, there's Arcane Thesis from PHB II and Metamagic School Focus from Complete Mage, which are for wizards.

There's Arcane Thesis which is from PHB II and is spell-specific.

There's Metamagic School Focus from Complete Mage which is for a particular school of choice.

I seem to recall there being one that's specific to a chosen metamagic feat, but can't seem to find it at the moment. Metamagic Ease? Something like that.

There is an Epic feat that applies to all metamagic feats, I think...

Against that, Dweomerkeeper (generic) and Incantrix (Forgotten Realms) both have the lower the spell level cost by 1 somewhere in their progressions. Halruan Elder (Forgotten Realms) might have it too, but I am not sure on that one.

There is a PrC in the Player's Guide to Wizards, Bards and Sorcerers from S&SS that lets sorcerers ignore 1 metamagically-increase in spell level for every level in the class. Can't recall the name of the class offhand though.
