I hit my first brainwall back in the early 80's. A new player wanted to join our merry game. When asked about this character, he had 25's in all stats (from wishes, of course) and had Thor's hammer - after having killed Thor by casting Crystalbrittle* on the god, he failed the save with a 1 and had been pushed off the nearest cliff. Top it all off, the character was a 9th level fighter.

*Crystalbrittle only affects items, making them "as brittle as crystal"

RIFTS

Heard about a DM that allowed someone to play a cyborg dragon. After reliezing his mistake, the DM tried endlessly to destroy the PC and couldn't.

I was asked also asked to play DnD about 5 years before I started. They were playing marvel Super Heroes. When it was about Thor raping She-hulk I left. I never thought I would try Role Playing games after that.

Stupid teenage years....
