I have noticed that fewer and fewer strips have been released. What's been happening with Rich? Has he been experiencing burn out? I went through the website (not thoroughly mind you) and could find no information. Has anyone heard anything?

I've heard Rich has had a lot of health problems ... among other things, I think, a hand injury. But I don't know any details at all.

Yeah, he does seem to have really slowed down on the updates, going at a rough pace of one new strip a week.

Same with ErfWorld, which has also slowed to once a week.

A once a week strip isn’t a bad thing. What is a bad thing in my opinion is the fact that he seems to be trying to master decompressed storytelling at the same time.

The once a week with no explanation is annoying yes.

Burnout shouldn't be an issue, since he supposedly has had the whole story planned out all along.

I'll still tune in regularly of course, but the less frequent updates certainly lower my enthusiasm and likelyhood of purchasing any of the in-print books.

The slowness has been killing my enthusiasm, too. It's annoying that as soon as it started to recover from the Post-Battle Plot Lull, frequency of the strips dropped down so low that it still feels like the story never seems to get anywhere.

Burnout can happen when you have story planned or not.
You still might get tired or maybe Fallout 3 is keeping you busy (I heard it is good).
