I do like the mirror idea, though.

Pit trap? They have one (OK a few) of those in A2 as well. You walk up a sloped corridor to a door - 10ft in front of the door is a pit. Not too deep though; 20ft with water at the bottom so minor damage (the pit remains open). When the door is opened however (note, in the module, the trap is "undetectable" because it is on the other side of the door), a chain releases an enormous pile of logs that rumble down the hall, crash through the wooden wall w/door, and bury the PCs under the water at the bottom of the pit. Nice. How many dice get rolled for that little encounter in 3.xe?

On a more somber note, it occurred to me that Tom Moldvay (along with Harold Johnson) wrote that module. *moment of silence - with two thumbs up*
