What's with the frequent timeouts?

Every weekday between 10 AM and 2 PM PST ENWorld consistently times out for me. I don't think the bottleneck could possibly be on my end as work (yeah, guilty as charged) has a big ol' fat pipe.

Known issue? Something others have experienced?

Worth investigating on the server end?

Very known I fear. And very annoying. But is looked into.

Is it a network problem, or a server load issue? There's a bunch of 'nice but not essential' vBulletin features that really gobble CPU--the 'forum jump' menu is known for being a real database query hog.
