D&D (2024) What's Your 2026 WotC D&D Wishlist?

We have a pretty good idea of what is coming out for 2024 5E D&D from WotC in 2025: the MM, updated starter set, 2 forgotten realms books and an adventure anthology.

So, what do you want to see from WotC for D&D in 2026?

Note, this isn't a question of "What do you think they will publish?" This is a question of "What do you want them to publish?" It is also limited to 2024 5E D&D. if you have a wishlist for reprints or support for old games or something new (Gamma World!) that belongs a different thread. Thanks.

For my part, I really want an Eberron campaign length adventure. It is not likely to occur, but I think we deserve one. Something that really showcases Eberoon's unique story potential, something that would not be easy to just pick up and drop in the Realms or whatever.

I would also like to see an "Advanced DMG" -- one that brings all the subsystems and focused stuff and optional rules to 2024. It isn't so much because I need that -- there are lots of non WotC sources out there -- but because I think it would improve the hobby by having an official Advanced DMG, given how many people are D&D only players and forever DMs.

What do you want WotC to publish for D&D in 2026?

Updated MotM, expanded with the monsters from the adventures, so everything is up to ‘2024 standards’. An ‘of Everything’ book that does the same for the races (from MotM, making the updated one a pure MM) and classes we are still missing plus the monster building guide, and finally a Dragonlance setting book and adventure path (two separate books…) that updates and revises the original DL1 to DL14 / their expanded 3e versions

Yeah, I doubt most of this happens

I don't know. You will have to search your feelings on that one.
Edit: My number one wish is for no reprints, and nothing to try to sell the idea that pre-2024 stuff is somehow unusable in a 2024 core game.

A 384 page campaign setting book that about 1/3 totally new mechanical options (races, classes, subclasses, feats) and 2/3 a setting gazetter. FR, Dark Sun, or a novel setting would be ideal.

Volo/Tasha 3. Ideally, no more than a few reprints\updates of old subclasses, at least 75% new-new material.

Sword and Fist: A book of alternate class features, new subclasses, and subsystems for fighters, barbarians, monks, and rogues.
