Hmmm I am a little surprised to see Fighter so far in the lead. I am also (pleasantly) surprised to see Bard right behind it. Its interesting because on the WoTC boards there seem to be a lot of people who just really dont like bards.
I figured wizard would get more votes...and still none for druid! a few more than I expected for Cleric also...all very interesting.

My guess would be that sorcs and most wiz are dry- and require little working on. They are not really customizable and pretty much come prepackaged.

I would have guesed fighter- they are very versatile and have a wide range of specializations. Plus, most people play either a a hilarious dwaren fighter or human fighters, which can multiclass freely and has an extra skill point which makes up for their lack of.

Still- a brutiash Barb will always be my fav

My habitual characters are in what my friends refer to as the "Arcane Spellcaster Fetal position"; that is where I start off w/ a good concept, and then say "Awww, screw it, I'll be a mage again!"

Ranger/Fighter. Comfortable in the woodlands, but VERY VERY VERY dangerous in battle. Can you say Dual Longsword-Wielding Chorus Bladesong Legendary Elven Archer? I knew you could.:D

My favorite class is fighter

Right now I am playing an enchanter and sometimes it gets on my nerves when I realize that I can't just run up to everyone who angers me and chop their head off, I actually have to bother talking to them.

I voted Barbarian, Fighter, Rogue & Wizard.

Barbarians are just fun. They get a healthy amount of skills and while they can be brainless in combat there are many times when I've really had to think about things (that is if they live after the initial assult).

Fighters are so varied and SO needed in a party. Customizable to the last you could make 10 different fighters and they can all be different.

Rogues are diverse as well. You can be a thief-type, a scout-type or something else. More fun stuff.

Wizards are cool because while some think they are limited in their diversity I have found a few different ways to play them. Wizards are the type of characters that I believe should be played mostly by experienced players as they take a ton of preperation and page flipping to play properly. While this is not always true I have run into many players who just simply not comfy, happy or able to properly play one. I think it takes a certain type of player to really want to play one. Those that do know what I'm taking about. :)

EDIT: Doh!! Forgot about Clerics. VERY diverse and easily one of the most powerful classes in the game. Good for intermediate players who want to play something different.
