Monk, never really fitted into the european basis of my campaigns. Not overly keen on Rangers either (more how they've been implemented rather than the idea). I prefered the 1e Bard to current one, but its still a class which I see a role for.

Even though I'm running a 3.5 campaign I still allow Gnomes to take Illusion specialist wizards as a favoured class.

Voted monks for pretty much the same reasons as the others above; they've just never fit in well with the standard D&D universe as presented in the vast majority of the books and modules.

I'm sure it doesn't have anything at all to do with having lived with Anime Boy and Spud Ninja back in college.

Cleric...it needs more options to show the differences between clerics of different gods. The domains were always a good start, but it really needs more.
Same vote for the same reason.

Plus I find that they tend to outperform fighters while being too much versatile IMC (this could be campaign
specific, but we didn't change our campaign style very much from ADD to DD3 so It's a loss for my point of view) .

I voted Paladin.

It used to be my favorite class to play back in 2e, but I guess my play style was much different then.

I can never figure out how to run a paladin with a unique personality.

Sounds more like you've never had someone play a monk who knows how to play a monk......

My thoughts exactly.

Anyway, I chose Bard, simply because that is the class I have the least interest in playing, or having someone in my game play.

Never been keen on druids, myself ... I just can't wrap my mind around 'em. Not generally keen on clerics either, really. I could find ways to make either one fun or at least mildly entertaining, but neither of them excite me.

I voted rogue because I find them overpowered, and tend to overshadow the few mechanical strengths of my favorite class, the bard. I also find it annoying when the majority of characters I build could benefit from a few cheese levels of rogue for the skillpoints and sneak attack. I think that holdovers from earlier editions of what aspects of gameplay the class "owns" have stunted other classes and character possibilities I'd enjoy more.

For a class I think is underpowered, I'd say bard, but that would bring me back to stopping the rogue from stealing its schtick. Its a vicious circle, really... ;)
