I got a message yesterday that mine shipped. I can't believe they put a survey card IN THE MIDDLE of the book... *sigh* So, what's the easiest way to remove it?

Survey card stuck in the middle...

Man... Who is responsible and what were they thinking?
Is the first page bound funny too?

Edit:

Well, it has perforations, but that leaves the stump. Perhaps with an extremely steady hand and lots of patience you could cut out the rest with a hobby knife.
I think I'll be sending the survey card back to them. I think we know what it will say...

I will do the same when I get mine. Lets all send back this survey card without info but with our complaint that it should not had been put there. After all, it's what these cards are purposed for.

I'm never going to try and save that extra 30% again.

I preordered my copy back in July, and it is supposedly in the process of 'being shipped soon'. Estimated delivery date is the 9th-13th.

My buddy, who ordered it as 6 AM yesterday, got his later that night. Didn't even order fast shipping.

Amazon needs to get their priorities straight...

Never pre-order from Amazon, unless they're doing a special "guaranteed delivery on release date" promotion (which I think they've only done for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix), or you just don't care when you get something. I buy both fiction and gaming books almost exclusively from Amazon, but if something's in the "not yet released" pile, you're often in for a few days more waiting than you "should" have.

I always preorder on amazon. I'm patient. I don't mind it coming a month later. It's not like I NEED it that day... I guess I'm just patient. I'd rather get the books cheaper, and have more books, than to have the books NOW, pay more, and own less...
