D&D 4E When is 4e Eberron due out?

I suspect that there will be a fair amount of online content that will be Eberron related in the first year of 4E. There probably won't be any artificers, though, as they may want to playtest them for a while.

Foulspawn I believe is the rename for aberrations.

I just hope WotC has enough sense to put something out on line or something for people who already are Eberron players so we all don't go out and play WoW or something for a year until Eberron 4e comes out. Significant changes to the nature of the way spellcasting worked and the way magic items worked and were created likely will require a significant re-working of the Artificer class. Also Dragonborn are not a standard Eberron race but Changelings, Kalashtar, Shifters, Warforged, half-orcs and gnomes are. A couple of these will likely be in the MM, but that still leaves a few that need conversion. Most everything else in the setting is pretty rules-independent and I can handle that myself until Eberron 4e comes out (especially since WotC turned tail and caved-in to the whiners who objected to advancing the setting 2 years without actually listening to people who thought the idea was a good one  but that is another story.)

I believe that I read a Wotc confirmation about warforged and shifter in the 4e MM.

I personally love Eberron and think its done a lot of cool things for D&D, even though I don't play in it. I wish it were published sooner rather than later, because Eberron 4e will probably be where WotC unveils stuff like airship combat rules and other less medieval/traditional D&D concepts.

BTW, foulspawn is a pretty good name for aberrations. I just am not a fan of the idea that the daelkyr created so many really really badass monsters like the beholder and the mind flayer. Those races should definitely stand on their own as a power, as presented in Lord of Madness.

For the 2nd year of D&D 4e, I hope the mind flayers are presented with their flavor text regarding the Sargonne Prophecies, again as in Lord of Madness. The idea that mind flayers are refugees in time and can game out the future reminds of me of old Isaac Asimov novels, such as the Foundation series (maybe mixed with Cthulu?).

I remember something about "1 setting per year" and Forgotten Realms coming first, followed by Eberron.
Eberron is coming (James Wyatt has said as much), but WotC has not tied them self to a time table. 2009 is probably very likely, but WotC has never stated as much. They have said that the D&D Insider will cover Eberron until 4E Eberron is released.

I can imagine warforged and maybe shifters in a monster manual. I have some doubts about the Artificer, Changelings, and Kalashtar.
Given that one at GenCon they stated that Changelings might appear in the PHB (which apparently has changed), I have to assume they will appear in the MM along with appearing in the "PC stats" appendix.

I doubt we will see Kalashtar until the Psionics Handbook appears (which has been speculated to be released in 2009 as well as Eberron). Artificers I think will either be a Dragon article, or will appear with Eberron, perhaps in that year's PHB.

Yet another reason why I am disappointed with 4e. Eberron has become my favorite setting and given how WotC put such time, money, and effort into making it a hit, I would be both disappointed and surprised if they would indeed leave out or significantly delay these elements to the new edition.
