Whenever I log in the browser defaults to stealth mode.

The title should explain it. Every time that I log in (Granted thats not often) the style sheet defaults to Stealth mode. Whether this is a safety thing, for all those that Enworld though work I don't know, but it isn't my cookies; I've just reinstalled windows (after formating it) so it can't be cookies.

Does anyone else experience this? I don't mind changing the style sheet each time I log in (I usually leave it logged on), but I'm being curious.

It appears the "default without post icons"-style has disappeared. I am not sure about this, but I think the forum will select the style depending on the position in the list.

If we have
Style A
[Style B]
Style C
Style D

And you use Style B, and then we remove style A, we get

Style B
[Style C]
Style D

You will then use Style C, because it's the second style...

@Ferret: Are you sure it's stealth, or is the browser failing to load the stylesheet (more specifically the server fails to send it)?

@Psi: That feature is down for repairs. I'm reconfiguring the templates.

Yup, it tells me that post icons are not usable in stealth and when I go to change it to default, it says I am using Stealth.

Don't worry yourself trying to fix it if you have more then this on your plate.

Well, it would only show you that if you were indeed in stealth. Two ways a stylesheet can be set - through your cookie or your dbsetting. Both should reset if you go to your Edit Options panel and select ENWorld Default or "Use Forum default"

It was set to stealth.... I don't know why, I didn't even have it selected before I wiped my computer. Oh well, problem solved, if not mystery.
