Where are the genasi?

Call me blind,
but I cannot find where the Genasi (and indeed other elemental races) are described.

Can some kind soul point me in the right direction?

I never though I'd say something in the Realms is underpowered, but I honestly do think gensai are. +1CR for that? Ouch.

Remember that Genasi aren't humanoids - they're outsiders. That means that they're immune to a whole bunch of spells, especially at lower levels - Daze, Charm Person and Hold Person most notably.

However, as outsiders, aren't they succeptible to the "Holy Word" spells, and other spells that eject people to their home planes?
