Where are the past ENnies?

I need to write a press release and include information about previous nominations for a new IPR member. I'm sure they had something before in 2003 or earlier.

I don't know if I'm just not getting the appeal of the new format, but it doesn't seem as good as the previous one. For certain, I know it's not bringing as much traffic to my sites (Open World Press and Indie Press Revolution) as the prior format. It doesn't even carry our banner ads. The one before let you put colorful banner ads that got people to click on to it.

Also, how do I place a link for visitors coming from my sites to vote for us? Is there no longer a ranking? What can I do to link EN World and my sites?

Is this a decision to encourage companies to buy advertising? I buy plenty of advertising from EN World because I appreciate what you guys do, not because you keep me from getting traffic to my site. I used to get thousands of hits through EN World, now I seem to get none. This really hurts.

Wow... an interpretation that even in my weirdest dreams I didn't imagine would be made! :)

Speaking from my own perspective, I don't like the idea of having two link databases to track and maintain. Most of the features available in top sites are supported in the links system. Those that aren't can be programmed in - but for now I have my hands full with reviews. As to advertising - I wasn't even thinking about it.
