I own 3 D20 System monster books: Fantasy Bestiary, Creature Collection, and Primeval Groves. I've used one monster from Creature Collection, and everything else comes from Fantasy Bestiary. Except for mundane animals--that's the only thing i've used from the D20SRD, and even then, more than half of them i had to invent myself (the only herbivores are elephant, donkey, & horse) and the rest all had to be tweaked to have some semblance of realism.

Even if i didn't have access to the D20SRD, nothing in the MM would be worth buying it.

I use Creature Collection II and Minions Rebirth, sometimes Monsters of Faerun. I've got Denizens of Avadnu as a relatively new source, but haven't used it much yet. Then there's Diamond Throne and Legacy of the Dragons. Sometimes, I go astray and pick something from a different game, like Talislanta.

Current plot I'm running is using stuff from Complete Minions, Slayers Guide to Demons, a couple Green Ronin Web enhancements, Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary, Monster Manual II (and past edition references to those monsters), d20 Modern Arcana SRD, and we'll see what else before we are through.

I use most anything I can... especially templates.

MM 1-2 and Tome of Horrors get the most use from me but I also use Creature Collection and specific world creature books also. I'm not against looking through BOZ's stuff either.

The creepier and most unnerving surprises the better.

I once used a Razorwire Golem from Armies of the Abyss, but most of my non-MM critters are from 1e sources both TSR and old White Dwarfs.

Here are the non-wotc I have and use:

Liber Bestiarius (does anyone else use this anymore?)
Complete Minions
MG: Aquatic and Marsh
Fantasy Bestiary
Swarm of Stirges
Creature Weekly 2, 6 and 7
Manual of Monsters
Monsters of the Endless Dark
Monsters of the Boundless Blue
Primeval Groves
Kaiser' Garden
Verdant World
Maze of the Minotaur
Nightmare and Dreams I & II
Elemental Lore
Monster's Handbook
Book of Templates (DE)
Template Troves I & II
Advanced Bestiary
Minions of the Shadow
Dinosaurs that Never Were
Machines and Mutants
Complete Guide to Treants
CC to Wererats
Visions- Stitches
Dryden

And that is only my d20 stuff and doesn't include all the d20 books that I get other creatures from (like Nyambe).

I use the MMIII and Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary. I will be picking up the Creature Collection Revised sometime soon, as I like the ratmen and alligator men.

edit: oh yeah, and Libris Mortis.

In addition to most of the booxs listed, I also get mileage out of:

Legacy of the Dragons
Advanced Bestiary
Monsters of Fearun

Once in a while, for shock value, I'll pull something out of Diablo II: THaB.

Fiend Folio and Monster Manual II from the list.

Libris Mortis
Book of Vile Darkness
Oriental Adventures
Creatures of Rokugan (AEG)
Jade Dragons and Hungry Ghosts (Green Ronin Publishing)
Aerial Adventure Guide: Sky Captain's Handbook (Goodman Games)
