Where can I find a Mechanica/Technology Wizard class?

I'm sort of looking for a class that builds/forges uses technology and machines instead of magic/psionics and magic/psionic items, that doesn't require tacking on a gigantic set of technology/machines rules, and doesn't use magic or psionics.

Is there such a class out there, or do I inevitably have to tack on a giant subsystem of machine rules? When I say large subsystem, I am talking about on the scale of tacking on psionics, or the WOW RPG's technology/machine rules.

Eberron's artificer is too magical... unless someone has tweaked it to be non-dependent on magic?

It sounds like a tall order. You want something that doesn't use the existing system, but don't want a replacement system?

There are two products by ENPublishing you might consider:

The Fantastic Science introduces a new class, the technologist. It parses out technological devices to the class in a fashion very similar to incarnum. Namely, it receives different devices of different power levels by class and level, and has activation points to utilize them.

Mechamancy instead of inventing a new system, adds skills, spells, and prestige classes that can be used by existing classes to utilize technology. It's almost like a new school of magic.

There's also Chaositech by Malhavoc. It has some cool devices and a moody chaos corruption effect and corrupting tools, but it less PC friendly.

Is Incarnum very difficult to tack on? Compared to psionics, that is.

Is it SRD?

It's not in the SRD. It was only a comparison about how the class is structured.

I couldn't say without knowing what you find so difficult to add on about psionics.

I would personally recommend The Fantastic Science. There used to be a free download sampler available, but it might have vanished with the changing of the e-stores. I'll see if I can track it down for you to take a look at (but probably not until tomorrow, as today I must bake!).

If you mean by that nonmagical, Steam and Steel might be what you are looking for.

If you want mass produced items that are technology that acts like magic, Mechamancy.

If you want something similar to psionics, with a point system, and magic, where the wielder can only use the items, Fantastic Science.
