Where can I publish my Non-Combat Talent Rules?

Starfox

Hero
I've written some rules fro traits and talents for 4E and got at least a bit of acclaim for them here at EN World. These are non-invasive rules that lets a character flesh out their background and non-combat skills. They have been playtested by me and I've heard others here that use it, but got no real feedback from them on it.

It looks like I'm taking a long break from 4E now, and I'd like to do something with this stuff before I forget how the underlying game works. Can anyone think of a venue where I could publish this? (After the inevitable polish to make it ready for publication). Is it a big no-no to have had it exposed on my low-traffic website (mainly for my gaming friends) and linked from EN World? I'm mainly looking to give this exposure, but if I can gain a little lucre from it that wouldn't hurt. Its 10,000 words, far too long for a magazine.

Traits (4E) - Hastur

Talents (4E) - Hastur

I also got a martial controller there that might never get finished and that I feel I need collaboration on. I like it in principle, but its not been playtested and there is a lot of remaining work on it. Doubt this will ever get published.

I just stumbled across the system and really like it... sorry that I have no useful feedback to give as I haven't had a chance to use it in play yet. Nor do I have any good advice re: publishing it. But I'd probably buy a PDF copy if one was available.

Screw Dragon Magazine. This should be in a manual of it's own. You could also expand on what kind of money the talents might earn, and flesh out some example armies, navies, or spy networks. It would sell, too, since it's the missing part of the game.

Talk to Wizards, and ask them to sign you on for at least this project. Otherwise, find another publisher (Paizo? Enworld?) and see what kind of deal they'll make you.

EDIT: I realize this doesn't really answer your question. I just want to reinforce the positive feedback you've been getting. I REALLY like what you've done.

Man, I don't know how I missed this before. I had been thinking up an almost identical system that I wanted to design for my players, but was too lazy to do so. This is fantastic stuff.
